1)
Candidates who wish to apply for ECET-2014 are requested to fill the particulars carefully in ONLINE APPLICATION. The required information should be collected from the relevant documents.
2)
All the candidates have to come to the Examination hall with a printout of Online submitted application. The candidate has to affix the passport size photograph (should be same as that of uploaded) duly signed by Gazatted Officer.
3)
Candidates are not admitted to the examination after 10.00 A.M. and not permitted to leave the hall before 1.00 P.M.
4)
It is the responsibility of the candidates to ensure that they are answering the correct Question Booklet of the branch for which they are eligible for admission.
5)
The Question booklet code, Hall Ticket Number and other details must be entered correctly and properly on the OMR Answer Sheet, in the Test. Other wise ranks declared, if any wil be cancelled subsequently in such cases.
6)
Candidates must return both Question Paper Booklet Acknowledgement slip and OMR Answer Sheet after the test.

1. Why have you gone for Online Application Form submission this year?
 
Online Application Form has many advantages. Completing an Online Application Form is easy and fast compared to the Printed Application Form and ICR/OMR sheet. The Online submission of the Application Form will reduce the whole processing time for a student such as standing in endless queues at Andhra Bank / e-Seva / Mee Seva to purchase Printed Application forms, take Demand Draft from bank, submission of completed Application form at the Regional Centers / EAMCET-2014 office, unexpected delays, uncertainty and confusion due to posting/receiving of Hall Tickets. Further, for the EAMCET office to work and manage a large number of applications is a laborious task coupled with wastage of extra, unsold Application forms and other stationery items. In addition to this, online system provides efficient & consistent Application tracking information and the ability to search the applications easily. Since the inception of the online submission of the application form in 2012, the success, convenience and the remarkable response achieved till 2013, gives us pleasure to continue the same even for the year 2014 with an objective to “SAVE PAPER and SAVE ENVIRONMENT”.
2. How should I submit the Application form?
 
For EAMCET - 2014, Application form cannot be bought at designated centers and has to be submitted ONLY through ONLINE mode. Please visit the EAMCET website www.apeamcet.org for more details.
3. How do I apply ONLINE?
 
Visit the EAMCET - 2014 website www.apeamcet.org and go through the information carefully. The entire information about EAMCET - 2014 is provided there. Be ready with the “mandatory details” and then Click on “APPLY ONLINE” field. It will guide you through the whole process.

5. What are the various modes of payment of Registration fees?
 
There are two modes of payment. The first mode is through AP Online / e-Seva / Mee Seva centers and the other mode is through Debit Card / Credit Card. The locations of AP Online / e-Seva / Mee Seva centers are given in the EAMCET-2014 website.
6. How do I know that my application has been received and accepted after filling in the online application form?
 
On successful submission of the online application form, you will immediately receive an SMS on your mobile phone with the Registration number. Further, your “Filled In Online Application Form” containing all the details uploaded from database and typed by you along with the Registration number and the Barcode will be displayed instantly.
7. What should I do with the “Filled in Application Form”?
 
The candidate has to take a print of the Filled In Application Form, keep a copy of this form and preserve it carefully. Use the Registration number in the Filled In Application Form for all future correspondence. If e-mail id. is submitted during the online submission process, then a copy of the “Filled in Online Application form” will be mailed to your e-mail address.
8. Should I upload any certificates?
  No, you do not have to upload any certificates. However, ALL the candidates have to submit the Filled In Online Application Form to the Invigilator in the Examination Hall. If the candidate belongs to SC / ST category, then he/she needs to submit a duly attested photocopy of the Caste Certificate to Invigilator in the examination hall along with a copy of the Filled In Application Form too.
9. Should I upload my photograph and signature?
 
If your Qualifying examination is conducted by Intermediate Board of Education, A.P. and you have passed the Qualifying examination in any of the years - 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 or 2014, then you need not upload the photo and signature as they are available with the EAMCET office. However, if you belong to CBSE or ISC or equivalent exam, then you need to upload the Photo (File size less than 30KB and .jpg file format) and Signature (File size less than 15KB and .jpg file format) as and when prompted by the system during the online application form filling process.
10. If I wish to appear for both streams Engineering and Agriculture & Medical (E & AM), will I be allotted the same Test centre or different Test centres?
 
Generally, you will be allotted the same Test centre to appear for both streams (E & AM).
11. I am an OBC category candidate. Should I also enclose the category certificate?
  OBC or OC candidates need NOT submit any certificates. ONLY SC / ST category students have to submit the duly attested photo copy of the Caste Certificate along with the Filled In Application Form to the Invigilator in the Examination hall during the EAMCET test. However, OBC students have to produce the Category Certificates at the time of admission.
12. How much is the Registration fee for EAMCET - 2014 examination?
  Registration fee to appear for EAMCET - 2014 examination is:
 
Engineering stream (E) Rupees 250/-
Agriculture and Medical stream (AM) Rupees 250/-
Both streams (E & AM) Rupees 500/-
  With Late Fee (In addition to the Registration Fee):

The Registration fee along with Late fee may be paid at AP Online Centers / Citizen Service Centers, e-seva centers in A.P and also through payment gateway (credit/debit card).
13. If I choose the Payment Gateway option, how should I submit the ONLINE Application form?
 
Before selecting the Debit / Credit card payment mode for Registration fee, the candidate has to be ready with the required mandatory details. After payment, the ONLINE Application form will appear. Fill in all the mandatory details, read the declaration and SUBMIT.
14. What are the Boxes given in the bottom of the Filled in Online Application form?
 
The boxes at the bottom of the Filled In Online Application Form are meant for affixing photograph, signing and place thumb impression of the candidate. A recent passport color photograph of the candidate has to be affixed and attested (by a Gazetted Officer / the Principal of the College where the candidate has last studied) in the appropriate box before coming to the examination hall. The Signature and Left hand thumb impression of the candidate have to be done at the designated places on the Filled in Online Application form should be done during the examination in the presence of the Invigilator.
15. Do I need to post my application and attachments?
 
No, Not Necessary.
16. After completing the ONLINE application process and generating printable Application form, will I be able to login again to change my application data?
 
NO, after submission of the ONLINE application form, a “Filled In Application Form” is generated. The candidate should take a print of the application form and hence, cannot modify the data. Therefore, the candidates are highly expected to be extra careful while filling the ONLINE application form. However, some of the fields (excluding Stream, Qualifying Exam Hall Ticket No., Candidate’s name, Father’s name, Date of Birth, Regional Test Centre and SSC Hall Ticket details) in the Filled In Online Application Form can be edited by the Candidate during a permitted period. Still changes in the excluded fields are to be carried out, then, the candidate has to write a request letter addressing CONVENER or REGIONAL COORDINATOR, EAMCET - 2014 or send an e-mail to convener2014@apeamcet.org.
17. I did some mistake in filling the details in Online Application, then how to change?

18. If I misplace my copy of the “Filled In Online Application Form”, how to get another copy of it?
You can take a fresh printout of the “Filled In Online Application Form” from the website www.apeamcet.org by giving suitable details.
19. I have missed to take a print of my ONLINE application at the end of my application process. How will I get access to it?
You can take a copy by typing the Registration number and Qualifying Examination Hall Ticket number and take a printout from the www.apeamcet.org by clicking “Print Your Filled In Application Form”.
20. What if I don’t have an Email-id?
Email-id is not a mandatory detail but desirable as you might be intimated important information about EAMCET - 2014 from time to time.
21. What if I don’t have a Mobile number?
Mobile number is a mandatory detail. Payment confirmation or any other future correspondence is through the correct Mobile number you enter. Hence, if you don’t have a Mobile number enter the mobile number of your Parents / Guardian.
22. My Registration No. is lost, whom should I contact?
If your Registration No. is lost, click the “Forgot Registration Number”, contact your nearest Regional Coordinator / EAMCET office. For more details visit the website : www.apeamcet.org.
23. I forgot to Affix the recent color photograph and attestation by Gazetted Officer on the Filled In Online Application Form, what should I do?
The candidate is expected to doubly ensure that the color photograph is affixed and attested by the Gazetted Officer / Principal of the College well in advance before the Examination, as it is mandatory to submit the same to Invigilator in the examination hall.
24. You said Filled In Online Application Form is not a Hall Ticket, hence, I somehow forget it to bring to the Examination Hall.
You will not be ALLOWED to take the EAMCET - 2014 test.
25 If I arrive in the EAMCET - 2014 Examination Hall late by 1 minute, will I be allowed to take the exam?
The candidate aspiring for EAMCET - 2014 examination will NOT BE ALLOWED into the examination hall if he/she is late by 1 minute. Hence, there is no scope for taking the exam. In view of the unwanted situations in the past, the candidates are advised to reach the Test Centre well in advance keeping inview he time required for traveling and traffic conditions.
26. I have pressed the Back / Refresh / ANY button during the Registration Fee Payment through Debit / Credit Card, will that speed up my payment process?
It is strictly suggested to avoid the operation of Back / Refresh / ANY other buttons during the Registration Fee Payment through Debit / Credit Card, this will not only hamper the whole process but also your submission will be incomplete. Hence, you are advised to have patience during the Online Payment through Bank.
27. I haven’t found the answer to my question in the FAQ’s, what should I do?
The candidate is advised to go through ALL details thoroughly on the official EAMCET - 2014 website www.apeamcet.org. Still if you do not find an answer to your question, contact the EAMCET office. You can also contact the Regional Centers or send an e-mail to the convener2014@apeamcet.org or contact at 040-23150362 / 040-23150462.
28. I have already registered for the Engineering (E) stream and now I wish to apply for Agriculture & Medical (AM) stream too. Can I use the same Hall Ticket number of the Qualifying Exam and submit another application form?
No, the candidate is not allowed to apply for another stream after having already registered for one stream. Even the system will not accept the Hall Ticket number once registered. If you want to change you have to visit the EAMCET-2014 website or approach the EAMCET-2014 office by sending an e-mail to the convener2014@apeamcet.org or contact at 040-23150362 / 040-23150462.
29. If I missed the last date (i.e., 04-04-2014) for the payment of Registration fee without fine, how much should I pay from the next date?
Refer the answer for the FAQ No.12, the Registration Fee details are clearly mentioned.
However, for example, after 04-04-2014 till 18-04-2014 the Registration Fee to be paid is as follows:

30. With the help of the AP Online / e-Seva / Mee Seva acquired Transaction Id. I have started filling the Online Application Form. Unfortunately, I did not complete the process by clicking the “SUBMIT” button and the “Filled In Online Application Form” was not generated. Can I use the same Transaction Id. again and restart the filling of the Online Application Form?
Yes, the candidae can use the same Transaction Id. as long as you do not press the “Submit Application” button in Online Application Form.
31. I have registered for the Engineering (E) stream, later I wish to register for the Agriculture & Medical (AM) stream as I am eligible. Can I transfer the already paid Registration Fee to (AM) stream.
No, the Registration Fee cannot be TRANSFERED.
32. I have paid the Registration Fee for the Engineering (E) stream, but I do not wish to take the EAMCET - 2014 exam due to unavoidable reasons. Is the Registration Fee Refundable?
No, the Registration Fee is NOT REFUNDABLE.
33. Can I exchange the Transaction Id. with my friend?
 
No, the Transaction Id. is not TRANSFERABLE
34. Are the Help Line Centres (HLCs) meant for appearing EAMCET-2014 entrance test?

1. Entrance Test:
Engineering, Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test – 2014 (EAMCET – 2014) will be conducted (as per G.O. Ms.No. 73 Higher
Education EC.2 Dept., Dt: 28-07-2011) by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) for entry into the first year of
the following Under Graduate Professional courses offered for the academic year 2014-2015 in the University & Private unaided and
affiliated Professional colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

2. Eligibility Criteria to appear for EAMCET-2014:
Candidates satisfying the following requirements shall be eligible to appear for EAMCET-2014:
a) Candidates should be of India Nationality or Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) / Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) Card Holders.
b) Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh. The candidates should satisfy local / non – local status requirements as
laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Education Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as subsequently amended.
c) For Engineering, Bio- Technology, B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B. Pharmacy,
B.Tech (Food Science and Technology (FST) /B.Sc (Commercial Agri & Business Mgt. (CA & BM)) Courses:
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with
Mathematics, Physics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology as optionals or related vocational courses in the
fields of Engineering and Technology, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh along with
bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002 and subsequent batches, or any other
examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh, provided that
candidates who have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Biology,
Physics and Chemistry as optionals along with the bridge course examination in Mathematics conducted by the Board of
Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh shall also be eligible for the Bio-Technology course.

Candidates should have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the
State Board of Technical Education and Training, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent

(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the subjects
specified taken together at 10+2 pattern.
(iii) In the case of Engineering and Pharmacy courses, candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st
December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
(iv) In the case of B.Tech (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), B.Tech. (FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), Candidates
should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission and an upper age limit of 22 years
for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates as on 31st December of
the year of Admissions.
d) For B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. / B.F.Sc. and for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA & BM)

for all the candidates and 25 years in respect of scheduled caste and scheduled tribe candidates as on 31st December of the year of
Admissions.
e) For MBBS / BDS Courses (as per GO Ms.No. 195 dated 07-07-2011):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or
equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology and English
individually and must have obtained 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) /
Biotechnology at the qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Schedule
Tribe & Backward Classes, the marks obtained shall be a minimum of 40% marks taken together in Physics,
Chemistry, Biology (Botany and Zoology) / Biotechnology.
(ii) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
f) For BAMS / BHMS / BNYS Courses:
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or
equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology as optional which shall include a practical test
in each subject.
(ii) a) Candidates should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.
b) There is no maximum age limit for admission into BAMS/BHMS/BNYS.
g) For B.Pharmacy Course: (Remaining 50% of the seats):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics,
Chemistry and Biology optionals, conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any other examination
recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.
(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects
specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
(iii) Candidates should have completed 16 years of Age by the date of commencement of Admissions or on such other date as may
be notified by the CET Committee. There is no upper age limit.
h) For Pharm –D Course (50% seats for M.P.C and 50% seats for Bi.P.C candidates):
(i) Candidates should have passed or appeared for the final year of Intermediate examination (10+2 pattern) with Physics,
Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology optionals conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh or any
other examination recognized by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh as equivalent thereto or should have
passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Pharmacy course conducted by the Andhra Pradesh State
Board of Technical Education and Training or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Andhra Pradesh
State Board of Technical Education and Training.
(ii) Candidate should obtain at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the subjects
specified taken together in the qualifying examination.
(iii) Candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission to the course.
3. Proof of satisfying the marks criteria in respect of candidates who appeared for the Qualifying examination during the year
should be furnished within 7 days after publication of the examination results by the concerned examination Board.
4. Criteria for Ranking: The candidates who have secured qualifying marks in EAMCET-2014 and candidates belonging to the category of
Scheduled Caste and Schedule Tribe, for whom qualifying marks have not been prescribed, shall be assigned ranking in the order of
merit on the basis of combined score obtained by giving 75% weightage to the marks secured in EAMCET-2014 and 25% weightage to
the marks secured in the relevant group subjects namely Mathematics or Biology, Physics, Chemistry of the qualifying examination.
5. Submission of the Online Application form for Engineering (E) and Agriculture & Medicine (AM) streams:
Candidates with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry / Bio-Tech. / Biology as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course
should submit “E” stream online application for Engineering B.E./ B.Tech. / B.Tech. (Ag. Engg.) / B.Tech.(Dairy Technology) / B.Tech.(FST) /
B.Sc.(CA & BM) (MPC) / B.Pharm. (MPC) / Pharm-D (MPC) courses.
Candidates with Biology, Physics and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Intermediate or its equivalent course should submit “AM” stream
online application for B.Sc. (Ag.) / B.Sc. (Hort.) / B.V.Sc. & AH / B.F.Sc. / B.Tech. (FST) / B.Sc. (CA&BM) / MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / BNYS /
B.Pharm. / B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C.) / Pharm-D (Bi.P.C) courses. For B.Tech. (Bio-Technology) (Bi.P.C), candidates shall pass / appear
for Bridge Course exam in Mathematics conducted by B.I.E, A.P. as per G.O. 17, Dt. 2-2-08.

7. Criteria for Admissions :
i. As per G.O. Ms. No. 181 dated 21-05-2008 of Health Medical and Family Welfare (E1) Department for admission into MBBS /
BDS courses on the basis of Competitive entrance examination, a candidate for admission to those courses must have
obtained not less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET-2014
examination,. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/BC must have obtained not less than 40% marks in Physics,
Chemistry and Biology taken together both at qualifying and EAMCET-2014 examination.
ii. As per the Gazette of India : Extraordinary under Part-III Rule No. 7(2) for admission into B.V.Sc. & AH Courses on the basis of
competitive entrance examination, a candidate under General Category for admission to this course must have obtained 50%
marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology in their qualifying examination. In respect of candidates belongs to the
Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe or other special category of student as specified by the Government from time to time,
marks required for admission shall be 10% less than that prescribed for general category.
iii. As per G.O. Ms. No. 74 & 75 dated 28-07-2011, the candidate shall fulfill eligibility criteria for admission into Engineering,
Pharmacy and Pharm-D courses.
iv. However, in all the cases, candidate shall fulfill the eligibility criteria as laid down in the relevant
G.Os/Amendments/Notifications to be issued at the time of Admissions.
8. How to submit Application Form: EAMCET – 2014 application should be submitted through ONLINE mode only.
